Institute of Advanced Virology (IAV) in Kerala is an autonomous institution under Department of Science & Technology; Government of Kerala addresses the pressing need to enhance indigenous capacity in the key areas of molecular diagnosis, therapy and prevention to combat emerging viral diseases. Institute seeks support from highly motivated and enthusiastic candidates for the following position:

Details of the position Security-cum-Liaison Officer
Educational & Other Qualifications Graduation or equivalent qualification.

Ex-Servicemen (JCO/equivalent post (X/Y group) in pay level 7 or above as per 7th CPC)

Medical category on retirement: SHAPE I/equivalent
Experience

 

 5 years experience as Security Officer/Equivalent position after retirement.
Desirable experience Experience as Security Officer/Equivalent position in research/scientific establishments/institutions.

Selection Procedure:

  • Through interview of the candidates those who meet the prescribed qualifications and experience.

 Duration: The position is temporary and the duration of appointment will be for a period of one year.

 Emoluments – Rs. 25,000/- per month (consolidated)

  8. The selected candidates are required to join within one month from date of appointment order.
