Institute of Advanced Virology (IAV) is an institution under Science& Technology Department of Government of Kerala with a focus on cutting-edge research initiatives in virology. The research programs of the Institute address the pressing need to enhance indigenous capacity in the key areas of molecular diagnosis, therapy and prevention to combat emerging viral diseases. Institute of Advanced Virology (IAV) invites applications from candidates for engagement as Laboratory Technician on temporary basis at its Molecular Diagnostic Facility (MDF).

Educational& other qualifications Graduates in Medical Laboratory Technology/ Medical Microbiology/Medical Biochemistry from a recognized Institute as a regular full-time course in the relevant trade/discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
or
A Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized Institute as a regular full-time course in the relevant trade / discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate with work experience of minimum two years.
