The flagship research programs of Institute of Advanced Virology (IAV) in Kerala, which started functioning from October 2020, addresses the pressing need to enhance indigenous capacity in the key areas of molecular diagnosis, therapy and prevention to combat emerging viral diseases and for development of Monoclonal/Therauptic antibodies, Advanced Diagnostics and antivirals against medically important viruses.

Educational& other qualifications •PhD in the subject area of Life Sciences/ Virology.
•Primary research publications in peer-reviewed, PubMed/SCI indexed journals of repute.
•6 months research experience and knowledge of cloning, molecular biology techniques, protein production, purification and biochemical assays
Desirable Qualification
  • Research experience in protein crystallography or Cryo-EM.
  • Experience and practical knowledge of computational drug discovery, MD simulation.
Emoluments (consolidated) ₹ 55,000/- per month
