Institute of Advanced Virology (IAV) is an autonomous institution under Department of Science & Technology; Government of Kerala focuses on cutting- edge research initiatives in the field of Virology. Essential Qualifications
  • Three-year Master’s degree in Medical/Dental Sciences (MD/DNB/MDS); or PhD degree after MBBS/BDS.
  • First-author original research publication/s, other than systematic reviews, in virology/infectious diseases in Pubmed/SCI indexed peer-reviewed journals of repute.
Essential Experience
  • 3 years research experience in virology/infectious diseases in reputed national or international research organizations after obtaining the qualifying degree prescribed for the position.
Desirable qualifications
  • Corresponding author research publication/s in virology/infectious diseases.
  • Experience as independent Principal Investigator in externally funded projects (ongoing/completed)
