The research programs of Institute of Advanced Virology (IAV) in Kerala, which started functioning from October, 2020, addresses the pressing need to enhance indigenous capacity in the key areas of molecular diagnosis, therapy and prevention to combat emerging viral diseases. Institute seeks support from highly motivated and enthusiastic candidates for its flagship research programs focusing on development of Monoclonal/Therapeutic antibodies, Advanced Diagnostics and Antivirals against medically important viruses.

| Essential Educational Qualification |
1. PhD in any field of life sciences or MD/MDS degree. (The date of completion of course should be on or after 1st April 2017) 2. High-quality first-author, peer-reviewed, primary research publications in Pubmed/ SCI indexed journals of repute. Review publications, case studies, and publications in non-indexed journals will not be considered. Candidates without first-author, primary research publications need NOT apply. |
| Desirable | A prior research experience in Medical/Veterinary virology and molecular biology with related publications. |
