The application must be supported by a recommendation letter from the Head of Department/Principal of the Institution where the student is undergoing the PG course. The letter should also endorse that the candidate/institution will not use any of the data generated during the project dissertation period to make independent publications or IPR generation; and that the candidate will obey the rules and regulations of the institute.
The applicants have to indicate their choice of department(s) and the allocation shall be based on the choice and the availability in the order of choice made.
If the number of applicants is high, the selection shall be through a written examination. The syllabus for the examination shall be from the domain of Life sciences.
