08 May 2025: Dr. Abhinand CS, Scientist C from the Department of Virus Genomics, Bioinformatics & Statistics, represented the Institute of Advanced Virology at the WSV2025 - 3rd International Conference of the World Society for Virology. The event was held from May 6th to 8th, 2025, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and was organized by a collaboration of institutions including the Malaysia Genome and Vaccine Institute, the National Institutes of Biotechnology Malaysia, the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, and the International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB).

Dr. Abhinand's attendance was supported by an ANRF-International Travel Grant, the World Society for Virology, and the Institute of Advanced Virology.
