Molecular Diagnostic Facility of Institute of Advanced Virology (IAV) in Kerala addresses the pressing need to enhance indigenous capacity in the area of disease diagnosis and contribute to ground breaking projects of Kerala state department that impact health and disease management. Institute invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the following position on contract basis.

| Educational& other qualifications | 1. A PhD in any field of Life Science 2. Documented experience in cell culture and handling infectious agents/ clinical specimens in BSL-2 laboratory. |
| Desirable qualifications | 1. First – author peer-reviewed, primary research publications in PubMed/ SCI indexed journals of repute. 2. Experience in developing diagnostic assays for infectious diseases. |
