1.Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)

qualifications

M.Sc. or equivalent degree in any branch of Life Sciences with at least 60% marks /equivalent grade/CGPA from a recognized University

OR

Graduate in any branch of Life Sciences with at least 60% marks /equivalent grade/CGPA from a recognized University with three years experience in government scientific/research institutions.

Emoluments (consolidated) Rs. 28,000/- per month + HRA

Notes:

  1. Only those candidates fulfilling all the essential qualifications, and qualifying the screening by a duly constituted screening committee will be short-listed for further selection process
  2. The short-listed candidates will be selected through a selection process comprising of written test and/or interview.
  3. The CGPA/Grade to % conversion formula (issued by competent authority) applicable for the degree awarding institution (wherever grading other than % is used) has to be submitted along with the application, if the formula is not already provided in the certificate/mark sheet.
  4. The appointment will be coterminous with the project. The initial appointment will be for a period of one year and subsequent extensions will be based on performance and approval from the funding agency.
  5. The position is purely temporary and selection to the position will not entitle the candidate any claim for future positions at IAV (permanent or otherwise).
