Institute of Advanced Virology (IAV) is an autonomous institution under Department of Science & Technology; Government of Kerala focuses on cutting- edge research initiatives in the field of Virology. Essential Qualifications
  • Three-year Master’s degree in Medical/Dental Sciences (MD/DNB/MDS)OR a PhD in Life Sciences.
  • First-author original research publications, other than systematic reviews, in Virology or allied subject areas in Pubmed/SCI indexed peer-reviewed journals of repute.
  • Corresponding author original research publications in Virology or allied subject areas in reputed peer–reviewed Pubmed/SCI indexed journals.
Essential Experience
  • 15 years research experience in Virology or allied subject areas in reputed national or international research organisations after obtaining the qualifying degree prescribed for the position.
  • As independent Principal Investigator in externally funded projects (completed) of minimum award value of Rs.30 lakhs (single project).
