Department of Viral Vaccines

Vaccines are the corner stone for long-term control, and even elimination of viral infections. Generation of novel and new generation vaccines and improvement of existing ones will be the focus of this department. It will also carry out basic research on host immune response to virus infections, which will support the departmental goal.
