Thiruvananthapuram, February 25, 2026 — In observance of National Science Day, the Institute of Advanced Virology (IAV) organized a specialized "Science Day Talk" featuring an insightful session on bridging the gap between clinical research and real-world medical application.

The lecture, titled "Translational solutions for maternal and child health – bridging the valley of death," was delivered by Dr. Ramachandran Thiruvengadam, Associate Professor at BRIC-THSTI (Translational Health Science and Technology Institute).The session ended with Q&A and a fun quiz. The Director awarded the gifts to the winners.

As an autonomous institution under the Science and Technology Department of the Government of Kerala, IAV continues to promote scientific dialogue that addresses pressing public health concerns through its annual Science Day initiatives.
